Our Story

My husband and I met during our junior year of high school in 2010. Shortly after graduating in 2011, I moved to Mobile, AL, to pursue a degree in Elementary Education while Nicholas chose to follow a different path; joining the Marine Corp and eventually being stationed in NC. Shortly after, I made the fourteen hour drive and Miss Mae's Pre-K was created.

Miss Mae's was established in 2013 as an alternative to the care provided on the military bases that surrounded our home. We welcomed families from all over Jacksonville, NC, to our family-based childcare center.

In 2017, we decided to start a family and come back to our home state of Mississippi. Nicholas left the military and in 2018, Miss Mae's found its new beginning on the quiet streets of North Gulfport.

It was our intent to remain a home-based school for families across the coast, but we quickly realized that expansion and licensing was not an option in Gulfport. So after months of searching, Miss Mae's is now located in the bustling town of Biloxi. Come on in -- We can't wait to meet you!
